Countdown GO

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

Countdown GO is built to respect your privacy. There is no tracking, no advertising, and no analytics SDKs. Your events stay in your own iCloud — we can't see them.

What the app stores

The only information Countdown GO works with is the events you create: a name, a date, and a photo you choose. This data is saved in your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it syncs across your devices. It is stored in your private database, which the developer has no access to.

Data we collect about you

None. We do not collect personal information, we do not use third-party analytics or advertising, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we never sell or share your data.

Photos

When you add a photo to an event, the app asks permission to access your photo library. Only the images you explicitly choose are used, and they are stored with that event in your iCloud.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Countdown GO schedules local notifications on your device (for example a week and a day before an event). No notification data leaves your device.

Purchases

Premium is an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment; we do not receive or store your payment details.

Diagnostics

The app uses Apple's on-device MetricKit to receive aggregate performance and crash reports. This happens locally through Apple and contains no content of your events. No third-party diagnostics or crash-reporting services are used.

Your control & data deletion

Children

Countdown GO does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.

Third parties

The app relies only on Apple services (iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, MetricKit, notifications), governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. No other third parties are involved.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
