๐ŸƒFitness GPX

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 9, 2026

Fitness GPX ("the app") is a running companion that turns your Apple Health workouts into visual reports and lets you export routes as GPX files. This policy explains what the app accesses and, just as importantly, what it does not do with your information.

The short version: Fitness GPX has no user accounts and no servers. It only reads the Health data you explicitly permit, processes it entirely on your device, and never transmits it to the developer or any third party. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

Information the app accesses

With your explicit permission through Apple's HealthKit, the app reads the following data solely to display your workouts and statistics:

The app requests read-only access. It never writes to, modifies, or deletes anything in Apple Health.

How your information is used

What the app does not do

Data retention

The app does not maintain its own copy of your Health data. Your workouts remain in Apple Health, under your control. Removing the app removes the cached widget summary and any temporary GPX files it created.

Children's privacy

Fitness GPX is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because no data is collected or transmitted, no personal information is gathered from users of any age.

Your controls

You can review or revoke the app's access to Health data at any time in Settings โ†’ Privacy & Security โ†’ Health โ†’ Fitness GPX, or within the Apple Health app under Sharing.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
