Support

• Current location: allow location access and Moonwater shows the tide where you are.
• Search: tap the magnifying glass and search any coastal place (e.g. Scheveningen). Location access is optional.
• Read the chart: scroll the chart to move through time; tap a point to read its exact height. High and low waters are marked.
• Widget: add the Moonwater widget to your Home Screen for the tide at a glance.

Where does the data come from?
Tides, sea level, wave height and water temperature come from the free Open-Meteo API (MeteoFrance SMOC model), licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Can I rely on it for navigation?
No. The tides are a model estimate and are not suitable for navigation — they do not replace an official tide table or nautical almanac.

No data for my location?
Inland spots far from the coast have no marine data. Search for a nearby coastal place instead.

Which languages are supported?
Dutch, English, German and French — the app follows your device language.
